As Senior Counsel for Kastner Gravelle LLP, Kate is a member of the firm’s technology
and commercial transactions group. Her practice focuses on privacy, data security,
information governance, intellectual property matters and commercial transactions.

Kate brings a valuable client-side perspective after many years as in-house counsel for
early and mid-stage technology companies. With this experience, she provides clients
a proactive but balanced approach for addressing legal risk while also recognizing the
challenges faced by growing technology companies.

Kate received her B.A. in Political Science from Yale University and graduated magna
cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. After law school, Kate joined
Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon LLP in the Intellectual Property Group specializing in
data privacy and cybersecurity. Subsequently, Kate served in legal and operational
leadership roles for multiple technology companies.
