Michael Vaughn's practice focuses on representing entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies, venture capital firms and private investors in all aspects of corporate and securities laws. Michael advises clients on a wide variety of matters including, formation, equity structures, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financing transactions, debt financing transactions and corporate governance matters, and has assisted public companies with public offerings and SEC compliance and reporting obligations.
Prior to joining Kastner Gravelle LLP, Michael practiced as a corporate and securities attorney in the Austin office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Professional Corporation.
Prior to attending law school, Michael was an information technology consultant, where he advised clients and implemented solutions in the technology, banking, and government sectors.
Michael received his law degree from the Case Western Reserve School of Law with a concentration in Health Law. He received a B.A. in Classical Archaeology from the University of Michigan.
